About The Artist:

My love for photography began when I received my first camera for my high school graduation. I initially began with portraiture and landscapes before finding my true passion, chasing storms and capturing lightning. I enrolled in Scottsdale Community College’s film program, honing my skills in B&W photography and spending countless hours in the dark room. Life caught up to me and I took a hiatus from photography until one Phoenix summer, a gnarly monsoon came rumbling by my place. I grabbed my now digital camera, chased that lightning, and haven’t looked back. I’ve found a wonderful community of fellow photographers and friends that continue to inspire me every day. In between storm season, I’ve fallen in love with photographing the night sky, with a focus on star trails and the Milky Way. Follow along for awesome photographs of the valley year round!
